State buildings: By Executive Order 2005-05, all new state-funded buildings constructed after February 11, 2005 shall meet a Silver LEED rating and meet the energy standards of ASHRAE 90.1-2004.

City of Tucson, Arizona Ordinance 10417
On June 12, 2007, the Mayor and Council approved Ordinance 10417 which adopts the 2006 International Building Code, 2006 International Residential Code, 2006 International Energy Conservation Code, 2006 International Fuel Gas Code, and the 2005 National Electrical Code and the local amendments for these codes. The above mentioned codes and amendments were passed with an emergency clause, making them effective immediately.
