Intro/Brief: 

2006 IECC amended to include ASHRAE/IESNA 90.1-2004, mandatory statewide; can use COMcheck to show compliance.

Detached one-and two-family dwellings and multiple single-family dwellings (town houses) not more than three stories above grade plane in height with a separate means of egress and their accessory structures shall comply with the SBC-2-2007 The Rhode Island One and Two Family Dwelling Code.
Existing buildings undergoing repair, alterations or additions and changes of occupancy shall comply with the provisions of this code or the State Rehabilitation Code SRC-1-2002 (see RIGL 23-27.3-106.0).
