This 4-hr session begins with an overview of energy consumption in a campus setting and how campus building systems differ from those in your home. Fundamental building systems that have a major impact on energy usage will be overviewed, including lighting, building envelope, HVAC, and others. Energy management opportunities and motivators will be highlighted.
Attendees will come away with an understanding of the big picture of energy consumption in a campus building and how they can go about having a positive effect on the energy savings on their site that results in the reduction of energy costs and impact on the environment.
