New York: Inspecting for the Energy Conservation Construction Code - 2010: Commercial

This three-hour course provides instruction on the "What, Why and How" of inspecting for compliance with the commercial portion (Chapter 5) of the Energy Conservation Construction Code of New York State-2010 (ECCCNYS-2010), and includes an optional 90-minute field demonstration. Students will be taught to look for potential deficiencies in building systems, as well as best practices for compliance inspection. Students will also receive a brief glimpse into the science behind the code and why it is important to inspect for compliance.
This course is designed for Code Enforcement Officials, Architects, Engineers, Builders and other construction professionals involved with code compliance.
