Energy Code Ambassadors Update: Idaho, Illinois, and more

The Energy Codes Ambassadors Project (ECAP) aims to train states to enforce the model energy codes in order to meet 90% compliance by 2017 and will take place in multiple states:

Idaho
Ambassadors program becoming part of regular infrastructure in state.  The Ambassadors hold sessions at regional energy conferences and code meetings in Idaho.  They have 8 Ambassadors around the state receiving ongoing Training and support from us and others in the region to really get the 2009 implemented in that state.

Illinois, Kentucky
Training/certification project has just been approved, which includes ECAP program.  Please stay tuned for training dates in the coming weeks.

Michigan, Nevada
Both states have expressed interest in the ECAP program and have included it as part of proposals to the Department of Energy.  Please check back soon on the approval status of the program in these states.
