BlueCross Headquarters Earns LEED Gold
GreenBuildingNews reported on the BlueCross BlueShield’s headquarters in Chattanooga Tennessee, recently received LEED Gold certification. The headquarters includes 950,000 square feet of office space. The design is said to reduce energy costs by 20 percent compared to conventional building designs and should save the company $265,000 annually. The facility is also expected to save 20 million gallons of potable water per year.
