New Empire State Building Tenants Leasing LEED Suite
Green Building News reports that new tenants of the Empire State Building, BroadRiver Asset Management, LLC, an investment management and advisory firm, will be leasing a 4,000 square foot LEED-candidate office suite.
The suite is located on the 42nd floor of the 1,454 foot structure located in Midtown Manhattan. The suite was built according to LEED Platinum standards and features Energy Star Appliances, tenant-controlled HVAC, and used sustainable materials.
The Empire State Building, recently committed to an energy-efficiency retrofit program. With goals of reducing energy consumption by 38 percent, resulting in an Energy Star rating of 90. For more information on the Empire State Building's sustainability initiative click here.
