Energy Code Ambassadors Program (ECAP)

The Energy Code Ambassadors Program (ECAP) was developed in response to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 to help states reach the specified 90 percent compliance level by 2017. The program aims to help guide and train state and local code officials to enforce the model energy codes in order to meet the target compliance level with tailored support.
