The comparison report evaluates the different editions of energy codes based on two measures of cost-effectiveness: Life-cycle cost and cash flow. The report highlights the national average energy savings of the 2009 and 2012 IECC against a 2006 baseline as well as various long-term cost-effectiveness for consumers.
